My Room

A retro 90s social sandbox and bedroom designer. Sign on over a dial-up modem, step back to 1998, and make a room that's all yours.

What you can do

Design a pixel bedroom: paint the walls, lay down rugs, hang your own posters and fill the room from a catalog of beds, lava lamps, arcade cabinets, bean bags and more.
Earn allowance: clean up the mess in your room and spend what you earn on new furniture.
Keep a Buddy List: add friends by screen name, see who's online and send instant messages on the 411.
Hang out in chat rooms: 29 AOL-style rooms, from The Lobby to Grunge Garage and Saturday Morning Cartoons.
Tune the boombox: 8 live radio stations playing 90s and 2000s pop, alternative, hip-hop, R&B, country and dance.
Make a profile page: pick a background, write your blurbs, choose a Top 8 and share photos and videos.
Visit your friends: see their rooms, leave sticky notes on their walls and send them mail.
